To get an idea of how many cameras are in the PGPSW database for Spain, have a look at the camera submissions map (click on the "We Need You" finger to the right of this message) scroll and zoom in to Spain. Sorry, not having a Garmin, I am unable to say which has the most. However, The PGPSW Spanish cameras are included in the European Download.

Thanks, but it is hard to tell unless someone has compared both databases.

Even easier, just goto http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/activecams.php and select "Spain"

Quote:

Europe - Spain Active: Gatso 703
Europe - Spain Active: Mobile 1760
Europe - Spain Active: Specs 32
Europe - Spain Active: Redlight 37
Europe - Spain Active: Truvelo 9
Europe - Spain Active: Monitron 2
Europe - Spain Pending: Mobile 24

AS3, do you think you can you get the info from Garmin as to how many cameras their database holds?

Sarcstic? Moi? Surprised

Serious point though...Short of actually driving on every road in Spain, how can we compare the two databases if the competition doesn't release any figures?

Can you not simulate a trip round Spain instead of actually driving it. Of course, I would do that, as it would be a satisfying project in my old age but, unfortunately, I don't have a Garmin to try it on Sad or should it be Very Happy
