Hi All,
(Forgive me but I've searched for this and cannot find the answer...cue an immediate positive response..)
A colleague of mine has the same model TT as me.
He's recently updated it and has found that it powers up (via the 12volt supply) when the car ignition is switched on.
He hasn't a clue how this has come about- but it is a neat trick that I can't replicate.
Any suggestions pls?
Cheers

Perhaps we should swap TT's then?
Will have another look..in case said contributor does not wish to trade.
Edit: reloaded update and it works fine!

Wow .... there is progress for you. TT introducing a "new" useful feature?
Err no. My wife's old Go 700 and 910 models both had this feature as standard (and I agree it is useful). TT then got rid of it in later models. One step back + one step forward = no progress. _________________ Peter

I think it disappeared because of all the problems they had with the docks on a x10 - so instead of sorting the dock design of x20 models, they completely dumped it :s _________________ J. |

That's correct - the x10 models suffered from intermittent disconnections due to the dock being a bit insecure - a bounce would temporarily cut the power and switch the device off, then on again. They disabled the auto on/off features so that they wouldn't have to resupply satisfactory docks. _________________ Dennis
