I wonder if anyone could offer some help. I am totally new to Sat Nav
I have purchased a Garmin Nuvi 705 with east european maps for a bike trip I will be undertaking starting this Sunday coming. I will be visiting Germany. Slovenia, Croatia, Dolimite region, Austrian Tyrol regions and I have stored the hotel locations onto the Sat Nav's favourites facility so I will at least be able to navigate to each location I will be staying.
I however want to learn how to put a custom route into the system sy when I will be in the Dolomites so I can do a circular trip from the hotel which will take me over some of the mountain passes. How do I do this on the system I have. Its something to do with custom routes. Can someone point me to an online user guide which would tell me how to customise a route.
Many Thanks |

Thanks Sassamb. I managed to find the manual tonight and have been reading through.
I have managed to save all my hotel locations as favourites so at least I won't get lost going from one to another. I really want to plan a few circular routes when I am in the Dolomites and don't know how to do this. Whats the easiest way to do this here whilst I'm still at home and have use of my PC ?
Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks |
