Can you detail your solution to assist others with the same issue? _________________ David |

I was half way through posting this reply, but got called away. It might be what the OP did....
The new TomTom models connect to the PC as a "Network adapter". Try going to Device Manager (in Windows XP the route is Start menu/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager).
With the TomTom connected to the PC, if look under "Network Adapters" and the TomTom should be listed (probably with some sort of alert icon if it's not installed properly).
Right click on it and select "Delete" then start all over again.
Also, if you are using Windows XP, you probably need to install this "hotfix" from Microsoft.... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959765 _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
