New maps are due mid August so they will not fall inside the 30 days unless you keep the unit in its box for a few weeks.
When does the 30 day countdown start, switching the unit on or connecting to home ? _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

General thinking is 'first use' which seems to mean getting a satellite fix. Some people never connect to Home with their devices. _________________ David |

Which could make map updates tricky!
The problem with leaving the device for more than 30 days is if you have a problem using the LMG and contact TomTom support they will want to see the receipt and if it is more than 30 days old, they may not support the LMG. _________________ Drivelux |
