|

I moved into a new house 6 months ago, and have found that everyone who has attempted to deliver goods, or friends that visit, have all ended up about a mile away
The postcode for my home is the correct one, but on TT software the location is completely wrong. The street shown on TT is not even close as far as street names go.
Is there an effective way to get this corrected by the TT software people? |

Sadly it is often true, especially with new builds.
You do have the facility, in Mapshare, for reporting corrections to a Postcode.
You could create a single location POI for your location, and send this to friends and family for use on their units. _________________ Richard

Chalkino wrote: | How do I create a POI for someone. | The first thing is Tap Change Preferences, then Manage POIs.
Select Add POI category. Choose a name for the category, and then a Marker (icon). You now have a category that you can move from Device to PC; and PC to PC.
For the next step go to Browse Map and find the place that you want as a POI. Tap the blue Quadrant, at the bottom of the screen, and select Add as POI. Now choose your newly created category and type in a Title.
If you OK out, you will have a fully working POI that you, or anyone else, can Navigate to. _________________ Richard

Alternatively, see if you can find a postcode that DOES work where you live. When I moved, the postcode was wrong but I could use the one for the 'other' side of the road.
Most regular users are only happy using postcodes it seems so adding "Satnav users go to XX11 1XX" to instructions would help. I've even seen businesses having to do this so that customers can find them.
