I can understand your keenness to check if your
device can actually receive an update, but from one who has received one for the GO1000Live, I confirm that when TT actually 'pushes' the update to your device/Serial number it happens quite easily with no hassle. Have we seen any problems so far with this feature? (apart from the annoying wait).... _________________ Gee-Pee

It doesn't take too much imagination to guess what that is _________________ Gee-Pee

See page 75 of your GO1000 manual. Connect your device to your computer and set up an account. _________________ Gee-Pee

Perhaps some sort of subliminal suggestion, 'Home Free' - only so far you're not. Signs of hope, but hardly an overwhelming wealth of upgrades as yet. Also make sure your OS is compatible, my mac 10.4 needs upgrading to link to the 100x/Via models. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

"Home 3" is just the old, unofficial name for the new "MyTomTom" application.
The old name has stuck a little, mainly because it is quite confusing trying to differentiate between the "MyTomTom" application (that appears in the bottom right corner of your PC screen), and the "MyTomTom" webpage interface (where you get the updates etc.).
You access "MyTomTom", by clicking where it says "MyTomTom" in "MyTomTom" - see what I mean! |
