We have the opposite effect in my area, a straight road 5 to 6 miles long with no bends whatsover and as good as most A class roads and well used but not classified is not navigable by either TomTom or sygic, It is shown just as a hatched line but will navigate ypu along it once you are on it but will absoutely refuse to navigate it as a route despit saving you a minimum 5 mile extra on a navigable route. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Guivre46 in that lane, the sat nav would have needed a cold chisel and lump hammer for the stone walls on the bend! |
Reading that I have to admire your nerve, I'd have been panicking. But reversing back would have been more difficult than going on.. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

If I'd got stuck, I'd have taken out my artificial teeth, hidden two satnavs and screen mounts and pretended to be a confused old person. No way would I have let it be known I frequent this site!! _________________ Dennis

Hope that wasn't you I saw on TV the other night DennisN, showing a WVM jumping out and attacking a cyclist he'd just run into (recorded on the cyclist's helmet camera)?? _________________ David
