Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the Navman 4410 bluetooth individually??
I want a 4410 because of the battery life (20+ hours), basically a whole day of driving without having to recharge. I also want tomtom software and not navtechs software.
I have a HP 2210/2215 FYI.
Can I buy the unit individually?? |

I guess it's too new to be sold separately. Even on eBay it always comes with the software bundle. _________________ Lutz

It is sold as the 4410 with SmartST software or the 4100 as a standalone unit. It can be had as standalone for around £150. _________________ Tim |

well wait a minute I called navman the other day and they said they don't sell it as a standalone unit.
I just replied to a post about the 4100 and wass in the advanced forum about a 4100 and how I cannot find anything saying it has wass.
But you are right! Now that I see all of the stuff for sale on the net it all says hardware only in small areas on the sale page.
Awesome I can finally buy the receiver seperately!!!!
For the record I did talk to someone at NAVMAN and they said it was NOT available seperately and I had to buy the whole package.
Weird, now I can buy my ideal setup.
Navman 4410 (actually the 4100) 30 hour battery +auto shut off w/no BT connection)
CoPilot 5 (live traffic in future, currently live txt msg and locater service)
CF or SD card 512 meg
HP2215 (already have)
3 weeks of research and I finally figured out the best setup
However we still need to find out if it has wass. But I have a hunch that maybe it just comes with the sirf chipset? |

well i cannot find a lick of information about 4100 on any of navmans 4 websites. I did find it online at a resellers website for $250
so I may be back to my old game plan of buying the whole package on ebay for $250 and then sending the Navman software to copilot for $100 off there CPL5 software.
I will call navman on monday to find out about the 4100 for sure. |
