I've had the iPhone app for some time, and have found it very useful. One of the items I liked, and for which I made requests in the early days, was the"Heads up display" setting. I liked to have my phone in a place where the display was reflected in the windscreen. Having now got an Android device, and having bought the new app this morning, I was a bit surprised to find no HUD setting. Will it be making a reappearance at some future date?
Also, I have assumed that the process for linking my account to a new device will remain the same. Can someone please let me know if that's the case.
Many thanks

HUD was never actually implemented in the Android version. The option was shown in the early beta settings menu's but they were literally just created from the iPhone settings options.
I presume there is a technical reason why it is not in the Android version but Lutz would be best placed to answer that.
Regarding linking, you can only link one mobile device to your account. So if it is already linked to the iPhone version then this will be picked up when you try link the Android version.

As before, we need the ID of your new Android phone if you wish to transfer from iPhone.
The ID we need is provided in the app and is explained in the FAQs at the bottom of the CamerAlert Android User-Guide. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I am looking into the HUD option for Android but I am not totally enchanted by their transformation matrices. the graphics engine works a lot different from iOS. We'll see. _________________ Lutz

Gents, as always it's good to know a quick response will be found here.
I don't know very much about transformation matrices, in fact I had a minor hiccup just spelling it, but I do know that your apps and the database are the best available, and you have my grateful thanks.
