|

Garmin 3790T - just bought to replace a dead TomTom.
I want to use it in three very different vehicles with completely different maximum and average speeds.
When I move it from one vehicle to another, how do I change the speed(s) used in planning/navigation so that the ETA is reasonable for the new vehicle?
Thanks |

Probably can't.... You can't do it on a TomTom either. |

A very basic system where TT tries to do it, is Always plan for limited speed. I don't know whether the Garmin has something similar. _________________ Richard

I definitely COULD do it on my old TomTom (Go 910).
Have just received a reply from Garmin telling me it is NOT possible on the Garmin.
Luckily I have been told this within 7 days of getting my Garmin so it is going back to the shop.
I will have to buy another TomTom instead.
