I have been offered a new update for my IQ live running 9.026 with the addition off tts. The new update is 9.028 but everytime I try to install it it says ( after installing ) you device will now be restarted and every time it doesnt restart. I have given it 15 mins and still no joy so I have installed a backup and that runs fine. Please can anyone help. Thank-you in advance. |

Remove the MapSettings.cfg file from the Western_Europe or UK&ROI map folder, Windows Explorer is the prefered method for file removal, the device should then boot up correctly but you will have to reset any POI warnings, Home location etc
Don't worry about the file being missing as the device will create a new one when its switched back on
Edit to add, if you have messed around with the unit to get TTS working then the Navcore update will kill the TTS, just thought you might want to know this before you go to far updating the device for no real reason - Mike |
