That sounds ominous, because I wiped EVERYTHING off both card and internal memory, so it is either not going to work or I have done this and found out something new ?
We shall see.

No, I said what I said because most people have already downloaded one of the zoned maps and after that Home will normally refuse to download the full map unless you put the old one back on again.
If you managed to get it all going by wiping (or I hope MOVING) everything off the TT and Home was then well-behaved enough to re-supply it all, I'm pleased and impressed! |

Success !
I left my Go connected through the night and have just found that ,yes, everything is good.
The full Western & Central Europe map v860.3101 is located on the SD card as is the application 8.351.
So it would seem that wiping everything off, after backing it up did the trick.
Who would have thought it. There must be a hard coded bit of information somewhere that lets home recognise the unit.
Thanks everybody for your help. |

why is this so difficult to acheive?
I installed a zone when I first bought my 750. Now I want the whole map on an SD card, but their seems to be no option in Home to download it.
There are some instructions on TT website that don't work.
It's such an obvious thing to want to do... _________________ 920T Navcore 8.300; Western & Central Eu 815; NA 815; TTS v7

Hughesynights, I don't know what the instructions on the TT website were that didn't work for you, you don't say....
But what you need to do is reinstall the OLD map (the one that came with the 750 when new) onto the SD card from your backup and remove the zoned map from the internal memory (you can do both of those operations by just copy and pasting the folders using Windows Explorer, no need to use Home).
Check the old map is working as normal and then connect the Go to your PC again and run Home, selecting the SD card when Home starts up.
It should then offer you the full, un-zoned v860 map. |
