OK, as I said earlier in the threadmy 8310 is now on ebay Quote: | "Navigon GPS 8310 Satnav with large (4.8") screen" - Reference No 120626629002 | So if anyone does fancy bidding, remember that if you win the auction (at a price in excess of my P&P costs, of course!) I'll give you a ~10% rebate. All you will have to do is pm me here after the sale is complete with your name & address, plus your email address for Paypal, and I'll cough up. _________________ David

I assume no one here was interested, but just in case someone WAS following it, I am having to relist it again tomorrow (Sunday) evening. _________________ David

Welcome Nick - you need a different topic; as you will see, this one is dead now!
But for my 2pennerth, it will depend on what you think you want in particular. 'Navigation' is a biggish topic (Do you want traffic holdup warnings? Do you want Voice Control? Do you just want "A 2 B please" ? Do you want ...??).
I have a Navigon - "it's the best"; others have a Garmin or TomTom (or whatever) - "they're the best".
If you are new to navigation aids, I suggest you go to the Beginners GPS Lounge forum and look/post there to get some initial ideas. If you are not, post a bit more of an idea of your requirements. Possibly start your own topic and let the site moderators place it where they think best. _________________ David
