|
|
I have just been looking round the new Satsync ( 1.5 ) and noticed that the font seems to have got smaller for map card/internal storage and that if you upload a route etc to Satsync it can place it near to or in among the map files.
Is there a way to protect the map files from being accidentally deleted from Satsync ?
I have them backed up to my laptop but would much rather not accidentally delete them in the first place.

Hi Ian
I have a feeling that you can't delete any file over a certain size so it protects the map file.
However, just be on the safe size you can now create a folder on your SD card called something like "Map - do not delete" and move your map file into it and get it out of the way. that's what i've done and now don't have to worry. |

Gibbo,
Had a go at your suggestion but I can't seem to move the Map files to the created folder,no drag and drop and Export just copies them to the computer.
How did you do it,or am I just being a bit slow.

Ian
I had an early version of the software and I'm sure drop and drag was there when I did it.
However, you can still do it if you have an SD card reader, take the SD card out of your satmap and stick in your PC SD card reader and do it through windows explorer.
Just tried it and it worked

Paul,
Just being browsing the Satsync 1.5 manual and it says that drag and drop within Satsync is not available until a later version.
