The notepad file should be called 'capture' (no quotes, all lower case and NO extension).
Then tap the top left of the screen and you should hear the sound of a camera. _________________ David |

Forget that last post I've managed to do it!! I read this post: http://www.yournav.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9858
I followed method 1 using the edit point.
It looks like I was still saving the file as .txt
DOH!!!

Just to add.... this method of getting a screen grab DOESN'T work on the new Go 1000 and 1005 models.
There is a way of doing it, but it has to be enabled by TomTom themselves and they haven't done it generally, only for test purposes so far. |

Darren it was my mistake in making the capture file still .txt the other thread all though the same helped in the fact it explained making the file with quote marks in the edit point. Maybe it's me but I found that point helpful.

Having picked up on this thread I thought I would set my 510 up, only to find it was already there.
It maybe something I have done in the past and cannot remember (age you know) or it was there from out of the box. |

Never seen that feature with a new uint. You must have added it some time back |
