Running Tomtom 1.5 and camera alert today the camera alert fell asleep in the background. If I double clicked the iphone button to select running apps it showed the cam alert icon but when I clicked onto icon the app restarted. This became apparent as I was travelling through a camera zone and received no alerts. _________________ -------------------------

Always on is selected. Looks like a bug. Will reboot the phone and test next week _________________ -------------------------

I've had the same issue, I've also still got the bug of the screen dimming if using the iPod app. |

After road testing tomtom 1.5 on the iphone 3GS, in the Tomtom iphone cradle running camera alert Tomtom still loses the gps signal. I had a good first day then it has been poor ever since. _________________ -------------------------

Hi,
Have iphone 3GS, Camera Alert is showing V1.20 on the iphone itself, but whenever I activate Camera Alert I hear an audio message saying that the database is out of date - please update. I thought that syncing would take care of the database update ... am I missing something?

OK, have got a bit further with this now ... I have a current subscription to PGPSW, I've had the iphone 3GS since beginning of the year, I installed Camera Alert way back when it first came out and had no problems with it. The upgrade to 1.20 seems to have caused the the link between my iphone and Camera Alert to breakdown (that's when this problem started), have just tried to connect ot the database and was told told to register as my device was not known .... (sorry yes it is ... has previously worked no problem) tried to register but was declined saying a link already existed to another device. Nothing has changed on the iphone or the macbook pro that I use to sync with.
Can't see any changes at my end that may have caused this, would be grateful for advice on solving the problem,
Many thanks |
