Hi all,
The battery on my 720 will not hold it's charge and seems to last no more than 10 mins,
Is there an answer to this problem, can they be replaced ?
also will any information ect be lost because of a flat battery

Mike Alder's instructions for changing the battery start half-way down this page. Do pay attention to his warnings though. _________________ Anita

No, you won`t lose any data with a flat battery.
Changing a battery requires a modicum of expertise, (which was beyond me), so I had it changed professionally locally at a cost of £25. Now all is back to normal. |

Hi all........and thanks for your help
Reading how to replace the battery looks like one of them things that may go ok but also can go pear shaped and land up having to get a new sat nav, so I may send it here.

Those were the people that fitted the new batteryi n my 920; recommended.
As I was near, I was able to drop it in and save postage. |
