Duplicate thread removed and this one moved to Nissan Connect forum where it'll get more specialist attention.
I assume you have followed the instructions here to the letter? |

That's it I'm afraid, the connect doesn't show the speed camera icons. It will not show any third party icons, only those put on to it by Nissan/Bosch.

Yes i followed them to the letter, mine is a more updated satnav and just downloads it as soon as you put the memory stick in. I saw somwhare on the foroum about deleing abit of the icon name of the bit map but that has confused me a bit, the bleep alert comes on, and then the whole north south degrees speed limit etc , instead of just the icon. I am nearly there but it is soo annoying , any help would be greatly apreciated, geiting abit confused with all your different forus |

Where does it say you have to alter the bitmap name? If you can't link to it what does it say exactly and what stops you carrying out those instructions?
I can't find anything about altering filenames. |

Hi, I've never been able to get it to show any third party POI icons, and haven't seen any instruction about shortening the bitmap file either. The Nissan connect download doesn't have any bitmaps in it, they were removed some time ago. I think because they could not be used.

From what i can gather - bearing in mind i haven't even SEEN the Nissan Connect system, let alone used one - it appears you don't get an icon on the screen unlike many other systems.

I would suspect just coincidence... |

You're right, only the factory installed POI's show an icon on screen. Third party ones show nothing on the screen.

Thanks. Just for our records would it be possible to get a photo taken by a passenger of the alert? No rush, just whenever you can. |

That's a good question. You can navigate to the POI and/or receive an audible warning with a message flashed on screen, you just don't see any icon on the screen.
The whole unit does leave a lot to be desired though.
