Hi there, No, I no longer have a back up as the PC I made it on crashed a while ago and I lost everything on it.
So if anyone else can offer me assistance it would be realy much appreciated?

I still reckon it's your cable. That is what happened to me on my 730 and my wife on her 930.
Can you find anyone close with another RDS lead to try?

I have aranged to meet up with Ray later this week to try the hardware out and also see if there are any missing files on the device, won't be till the latter part of the week though (assuming he is still willing to talk to someone from Blackpool after this afternoons result) - Mike |

I have this from time to time on my 730 and all I do is reset the unit and it starts to work again. Press the reset button on the underside and then a long press of the power button at the top.  |

I would be interest to hear the latest on this issue. I have a 730 and suffer from exactly the same problem.
Is it software - in which case what do we need to change?
Is it the receiver (wire)? How do I check the wire before spending money on a replacement?
I get the feeling that this might be a common problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, problem solved.
It was nothing to do do with the software, just a broken wire in the RDS_TMC antenna.
