lifetime membership criteria

I submitted a new fixed camera site a few weeks ago but it has not yet been verified and my annual membership fee has only a few days left to run before it is automatically renewed via Paypal. My question is this; if I cancel my renewal now (on the assumption that I will receive a free lifetime membership) will I still get the lifetime offer or will I not get the free lifetime offer because I am no longer a member?

You presume that your submission will qualify! You may not be the first after all?

If you cancel, then whilst it may subsequently qualify it could be some time. The risk is yours.

If you renew then you've invested £19.99 and will still have access regardless.

I'm assuming that I will qualify because a different coloured icon is shown on the submission map page (as per your automated e-mail). If I renew my subscription and then the following day I get awarded free lifetime membership I may just go out and kick the cat (sorry, can't say that now). To go back to my original question; if I do not renew automatically, will I be classed as a non-member when the camera is verified or not? Is it the date of submission that counts or the date of verification?

If you were a member when you submitted then the submission is eligible if/when it qualifies.
