Also, If I am not mistaken, Hasn't DennisN been complaining about Maps for Greece not being included in the European ones? So, a week after his and Vera's holiday to Greece, TomTom include Greece in the European 8.50 download!
I feel a storm brewing.....5 days and counting!
I'm certainly not going to ask DennisN to choose my Lottery Numbers for a while.
EDIT- Just an idea. Perhaps TomTom never previously included the maps for Greece because they knew that doing so would tip it over their 2GB limit. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Nothing to do with the 2GB limit - they did it just to annoy Dennis |

They also ensured his XL LIVE started playing up so that he had to buy a 550 |

Well, we had a couple of days using the Greece map on the 550 live. Not a great success I fear, what with it not having any great concern about the difference between tarmac and megga-wheel 4x4 and having loads of names very similar to each other (offers you half a dozen, with the province or dymotiki area or something and you need to know which one) - to navigate to one very nearby village, I entered Kokini and selected one of them, only to be offered a route of some thousand miles or more onto the mainland. Then again, those Greeks have a funny alphabet and even in the pseudo English depiction of names, it's not always easy to remember that D is written NT and B is written MP (to go to Benitses you input Mpenitses - if you're as clever as I am!!) From the top of Pantokrator, it directed us down a mountain road which Dimitri finally refused to follow any further than about 2 miles. That might have had something to do with his car stopping two days later, sitting over a large pool of petrol - he was about to light a fag to ponder the problem until I suggested it might not be the wisest of thinking aids! _________________ Dennis
