Does anyone know how good Navigon are at releasing updates to the mapping data?
I've read the Co-Pilot Live 5 review (great review) and it mentions that they are using the Navteq maps (same as Navigon) and have the toll road on there!
Any clues?

You can expect yearly updates fromt he navigation program vendors, mostly togehter with a new program version. Very seldom they do a map update in between. _________________ Lutz

I take it that MobileNavigator|4 does not have the M6 Toll road in the UK?
Also, how long did it take for MobileNavigator|4 to arrive in the UK after ordering it?
TIA |

It does, in so far as if you are on the M6 Toll, it will know where you are (it displays "M6 Toll", but there is no routing information or TMC data for it. Therefore it will no select that route as an option

About 5 days, but I ordered from ComputerUniverse.net rather than directly from Navigon (it was a LOT cheaper :D ) _________________ TomTom GO 910 |

Yes it has the road changes, just does not route you around them. It is exceptionally quick at realising where you are as soon as you come off the toll road and recalculates the route with little difficulty.

Which year are the maps?
Navigon Support: "I quarter 2004 from Navteq "
Does the UK map include the new M6 Toll road?
Navigon Support: "we donīt know!!!we build the software, the maps are from Navteq."
Hmmm, I have not got the software yet but can't you search for the M6 Toll???
At least I got a reply |

No, you cannot search for it, even if you click on the toll road and set that as a point it will not be able to route you too it
It's a shame, but I hope that Navteq will send out an update for what is in effect a glaring error on thier maps. Copilot 5 has the toll road on it...
