hiya guys, i want a new tom tom, so for around £170 i was thinking of the 730. i want lane guidence and live etc etc. how does it compare to other tt models. thanks. |

Have a look at the refurb units they are selling which still get supplied with a 12 month warranty the same as a new build device you might save some cash, see Here - Mike |

A 730 isn't a Live device so you won't get 12 months Live services (I missed that requirement from your original post), what you might want to clarify prior to purchase is the Latest Map Guarantee (LMG) status, if the device is supplied with this then its a bargain, give them a ring on Tuesday 0845 161 0009
If you really need Live services then the 540 from TotalPDA isn't a bad idea you get the vital LMG and three months of free to use Live services see Here its only got UK&ROI mapping which might be an issue and no mp3 player or FM Tx which the 730 has that you first mentioned - Mike |
