The "Mobile" camera alerts are driving me mad!
It seems there is a "Mobile" in every parking bay on every A road in the country!
I use Ash's Camera manager and Garmins POI loader to load the Pocket GPS Database and Ash's audio filles to my Kenwood DNX9240BT.
To remove the audio alerts do I just delete the audio files for "Mobile" before I upload?
Will I still get the Visual warnings, will I still get the "Bongs", or do I need to delete all references to "Mobile"
Thanks

I haven't used a Kenwood unit so i can't be sure but...
If you remove the audio file won't it just revert back to the Bongs?
If you untick the Mobile category in Camera Manager Timings screen doesn't that switch off the alerts?
If you delete all the Mobile files you'll get no warning at all.. |

G'day PaulB2005,
I get both a Bong and Voice warning at the moment so I'm not sure if removing the voice alerts will keep the bongs?
I must be in a daze, I had not even thought of turning off the Mobile alert in the timings screen.
I will try that...and report back!
Thanks |

Problem number one!
If I untick mobile camera in Camera Manager, it crashes.
Have tried 6 times rebooted 6 times keeps crashing.
I will try deleting the voice files instead in the POI folder.
Keep youi nformed. |

Sorted!
I tried again this morning and Camera Manager did not crash, unticked the "Mobile" alerts, uploaded using POI loader to SD Card and it works fine. |

Except now you will almost certainly get zapped by a mobile camera |
