The situation with the UK traffic is very weird. Its like Navigon will not reveal what the hold-up is, either through their own reasons or because of legal reasons from their supplier - although they won't even say "sorry we can't say anything because of legal reasons.."
So we don't know. They are certainly being very candid on their Facebook page, which with respect to Navigon they do engage with users and answer questions there - although I think they're a bit overwhelmed at the moment with the success of their iPhone app & everyone wanting this&that feature and info about the product.
A lot of that they could relieve by providing some kind of manual - people have been asking this for a while.
It could be a good table to add to the comparison chart - whether the app has a manual available and how - for example CoPilot does but its webpage only, Navigon doesn't, I don't know about TomTom and the others.
Regards,

For Navigon users that love the PGW speed camera database: I posted over on Navigon's Facebook page about adding either Custom PoI support or working with PGW to use the database.
Can I ask other interested users to contact Navigon as well. A body of users may be the tipping point. |

Impressed by Navigon's traffic service - a world apart from CoPilot's.
So far it has picked up all the traffic problems I've encountered on the M3, which have included just weight of traffic and an incident. |

Glad the clamour is building up on Navigon about POIs - keep it going!. I posted on Facebook a few days ago, and have been nagging them personally for ages. A few others from here have done so as well. Navigon muttered some thing to me about possibly a bit later this year. That was on PNDs but if they do it they will surely implement on iPhone _________________ David
