Guys,
I've got a TT720 and have no problems with it whatsoever - it works and navigates fine and I like it.
However, I am now in a situation where I will be changing from one car to another a lot over the next 3-4 months and carrying my phone, PND, cigarette charger, etc is going to get on my nerves. I'm looking for a GOOD nav solution just using my phone.
My phone is Windows Mobile 6.5.
I don't want a solution that involves using a preconfigured SD card either as I need to use my own card that has a big memory for work files. I need a sloution that can be copied onto my existing card.
It needs to navigate well, I do think that TT is good here and I am not complaining about my 720, if my phone can become as good as that, I'll be happy.
I suppose the obvious is TT nav 7 but it comes configured on a SD card and that is just a big no-no.
Recommendations please.
Thanks |

Which phone are you using as this will have a bearing on what can be used on it - Mike |

TTN7 is not supported on that phone - that is not to say it will not work though.
You could use Sygic's Mobile Maps - they have a similar interface to TT. And you can put the cameras from this site on relatively easily and use the TT ogg voices for alerts. You can download it from Sygic's site and put it on your own card. Or you can buy a retail version with 4GB microSD card and the software on a DVD as well (for installing on your own card)cheaper (at least for the Europe maps) from the Teleatlas site. I did that and used their SD card in my camera.
I am using it on an android phone (you get Symbian, WM and Android versions) and I am pleased with it. And their support is very good (but a monkey answering the phone would be good compared with TT) _________________ Peter
