It is not neccesary to quote the full contents of the previous post. Use the 'Reply' button instead , unless you want to highlight extracts from it. It just clutters up the thread snowyjp wrote: | would it be possible for u to convert the speed camera dat base from txt to spdb file and send to me to upload | No, unfortunately I cannot do that. All the downloads are 'fingerprinted' to a user, and if mine 'got out' I would be banned.
I don't have any experience with 2006, perhaps that does not use an scdb file but only a spud file. Anyone else come in on that one?
Lets try again.
1. Is the IGO running from and SD card or the internal memory of your device?
2. Is your device a PDA or dedicated satnav PNA?
3. If you drag the spud file to your desktop then right click it and chose 'Properties' does it get bigger after you have added a cam, and does the date/time reflect the time that you added the cam on your device?
Linknet developed a converter for IGO 2006. It can be found in this thread Here
I havn't tried using it, but it might give you a start point for a converter.
If you Google for txt to spud, you'll get lots of hits, but unfortunately, most of them are asking how to do it, with no answer that I could find.

PNA. Personal Navigation Assistant such as TomTom
PDA Personal Digital Assistant such as Blackberry and some more advanced mobile phones.
I have emailled you with the way forward on this, I'm confident that we can now sort it. |

Well Snowy, that's a result then. I told you not to give up
I don't think Igo have ever done voice warnings for speedcams . There are developers who have incorporated them in their skins, but I don't know whether this has been done for 2006.
