Yes, I know about this problem with some voices, Which one is causing the problem with you? Have you tried changing the voice to a 'Computer' voice? _________________ Gee-Pee

What application version are you running and which voice?
How much free space is left on the XL? |

First thing, have you tried a reset?
Second thing, have you tried a return to factory settings? |

Hi Andys... I have detected this problem with non-English voices on all my devices. Try it yourselves and install say, Kathy English (Irish). Next time you are out, see if she finishes the last two messages/instructions....I have a turn into my estate and usually get "Turn right and then....."
The "you have arrived at your destination" is missing. The next message says " In 100 meters/yards, you......."
This was like this on the last application on my One IQ and is still there since installing the latest one. I've not recently installed a new application on the two GO X30 devices, but the fault is there.

I confirmed it on Go940 - Last two messages were "Turn right and then.....", followed by "In 100 yards......." She never says "You have reached your destination"
Home reports it as Kathy version 7
But I DIDN't get it on a Go 720 - it worked fine. Home reports it as Kathy version 1
I then tried installing the v1 onto the 940 and it's fine on there as well.
I noticed that the v1 is data119.chk but v7 is data162.chk
Bizarre..... Wonder how come this hasn't been noticed long ago? Can you confirm if it's the same with other voices?
(sexy voice though! ) |

Tried it on four different voices Kathy, Kathy 1 and a male Irish voice plus a central european voice - think it was Croatian (Goran?). Have reported it to TT as I thought it was something to do with the latest application until I found out it was also on the device without the update. I'll check it out on a sexy voice tomorrow - just for you Graham
PS If, when you load the voice and do the 'TEST', the words are not missing. Strange. _________________ Gee-Pee

TT Support know about this, but have not been able to reproduce the problem. Best thing to do is to choose another voice. It does seem to be limited to Non-English UK + Non Computer voices.
But, if you know different........... _________________ Gee-Pee
