Mike. Cancel my last !!!
I just set my 520T up indoors, attached the RDS-TMC Unit to the window, planned a route to Plymouth and hey presto. Got an instant result, route plus a 7 minute delay. And a big Green dot in the top right hand corner. It must have been a meteorology glitch yesterday. |

As you were in Lancashire yesterday there is a posibility the Winter Hill transmitter that covers the Fylde coast and most of the county for RDS-TMC from iTIS (the company that provide the data for the TT system) wasn't working correctly. Yesterday was the switch over from the old analogue to digital for TV and Winter Hill was swapped over, I have no idea if the other transmissions that come from the same mast will have been messed around with but it might explain poor coverage around your destination.
Blackpool is always an ideal location for testing RDS receivers as the signal coverage is at best described as pathetic, so it wouldn't take much to knobble an already weak signal - Mike |

Hi Mike, same again today regarding the red circles info, is it advisable to edit the traffic DAT and paste the info of a tt 510 uk map, or is there any way to put mine right.

Ahh, that accounts for all the Digital info being blasted out on the local "Wave 965" radio station during my brief visit.
Thanks for that Mike |

The file will have been updated as part of the Navcore install/ upgrade IF REQUIRED if its not touched this file I would leave it well alone unless you find the RDS-TMC isn't working at all post update - Mike |
