anyone else had this?

reinstalling my backup means everything works again but as soon as i let it update the maps it won't find a signal.

I'm using a 920

What model of TT do you have. Might be an idea to do a RESET. If you list your device we can guide you in the right direction..

thanks, its a 920. a reset doesn't sort it

If you do a full back up i would suggest running the clear flash tool. Again if you not sure can help with this also...

That's the same link I would have given, so either it's moved or the whole system is kaput (The Home servers are down too)

Try deleting the contents of your ephemeris folder on your device as well in case the quickgpsfix file has been corrupted somehow

Delete your mapsettings.cfg file from within your map folder (Western_andCentral_Europe for example) on your device as well.

Then do a factory reset from the menu on the device and try again.
