I'd really like to use my PDA to view the TomTom webpage that shows traffic info. But I can't get it to work on my Dell x50v running WM2003SE Works fine on a mate's iPhone.
Does anyone know if this is possible ?
Here's the link to the page I'm trying to view
http://www.routes.tomtom.com/t/#/ |

My XDA PDA loads that website no problem.
I have also noticed that the route planner does not have mapshare corrections included. _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.

This shows some possible hope then. What OS is your XDA running ? Are you using PIE or another browser ?
Thank you. |

opens ok on pie on HTC HD2, but trying a route plan it just sits with Please wait...
Opera 10 beta 2 works fully. It also gives me the right route to work, which is good. |

I have WM6 installed and I just use the bog standard Internet Explorer it comes with.
I have been playing with it today, and noticed that the blue Plan Route button seems to freeze now too, so something has changed recently! _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.

Quick update.
I installed the Skyfire browser to my PDA recently and now that traffic webpage works perfectly.
Note that if you have a PDA rather than a Smartphone then users have to install (cut and paste) an extra two files into the device's Windows directory to make Skyfire work - the files fool the PDA into thinking it's a Smartphone. A quick Google will reveal more detailed instructions.
It required that I upgraded from WM2003SE though. |
