Hi,
Does anyone know [or have a sense of] new models coming up in 2010? I have a grandson graduating from a prestigious technical college [EE and computer hardware design] and I have promised him a top line GPS for his graduation present. Thoughts? Info?  |

Well, the x50 series has been announced but those 'in the know' say the 950 is nothing more than a 940 with Navcore 9 installed which gives a few more menu icons but no real improvements over the 940.

Get your Grandson to design a WORKING TT System that will update correctly, and will use MapShare that will inform others (and TomTom) of the update so others can use it straight away....

Yes, please! Ask him to look at getting hands free phone working too. Maybe he could also see to it that Live Services don't take an hour off every other day?
