|
|
Hi
just upgraded from TomTom navigator on a PDA to a TomTom XL IQ.
Looking very good so far, i have add the camera database and in process of doing to voice warnings with the ogg files. all files are in the map directory.
i have added warnings for about half of the speed cameras and now the device will not let me add any more.
probably something similar but if anyone could help i would very much appreciate it.
whilst im asking can i create a itenary for a regular journey and will it save after doing the journey ?
Thanks |

I've got a TT720, the voice thing has happened to me in the past. What worked for me was to turn it off, hit the reset and then carry on.
No idea why it happens, been a while now, so probably due. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Try a reset of the device, don't worry you won't lose any settings just press and hold the on/ off switch until the drum roll sound and the device re-boots, not try re-configuring the POI Camera warnings BUT if you have the pMobiles loaded leave these till last, for some reason now and again users experiance problems when setting the pMobiles before completing the Gatso, Mobile, Specs etc - Mike |

Not necessarily a "LIVE" model in this case though?

For this part of your question, it might depend on your model....
The Old "One" models had the itinerary function stripped out, but I have got it on an 'XL LIVE IQ Routes', so you might well have it on your 'XL IQ Routes', have a look on the main menu pages.
You can certainly create an itinerary in that section and you can certainly save it for re-use later, but it isn't clever enough to automatically create one from a route you've driven. |
