Hi. Please can you tell me if the speed camera database works with the TomTom Go520 as I have been told that you can only install via a mobile phone ? I even bought a compatable mobile phone but it never worked corectly via TomTom.
Any advice will be welcome. |

The PocketGPSWorld.com database certainly does work with the TomTom GO520 (it works with all TomTom satnavs). No phone involved, just your computer.
It requires you to subscribe, £19.99 a year. Once you're a subscribed member, you download the database to your computer and install it on your 520 by copy and paste, using Windows Explorer, connected to the computer by the USB docking kit which comes with the 520. Even for novices, it's quite straightforward. The download page (you can't see that until you subscribe) contains full instructions on how to download, install and setup the cameras on your 520. We have been known to talk it through if you're willing to invest the price of a half hour phone call. _________________ Dennis
