Not sure if it's sudden surge in server demand but I've found live traffic near on useless in the mornings for me this week with it often just giving up connecting at all. What is annoying is once you get the unable to connect triangle, it seems to not even bother trying to reconnect. My morning journey is along the A414 in Essex to Harlow.

I have not seen this, perhaps there is a problem with your local vodafone mast or network?

Only this morning did mine fail to connect first time. Switched off and then on, then it connected first time.

I had no LIVE traffic this morning (between 8:00 and 8:45) either - a couple of reboots made no difference.

Google Search and Weather worked OK so it was TTs Traffic Servers that were down.

Works fine now, but I am home now and there aren't any traffic delays in my living room .......

I'm also in Essex and have had problems all this week, only traffic, other live services have been ok.

This is something that's confused me since the 740's were released in the States. Here in the US I frequently get posts that "live services aren't working" and the TT servers often get blamed. More often than not my services are working fine. Then there are other times that mine may be out for a couple of hours, but a quick pm to another owner confirms he's not having an issue. If it was a server problem, my thought is it should affect all users with live models. It doesn't. As a matter of fact I've yet to find an instance where every NA 740 owner has lost live services at the same time. Since you folks have much more experience with the x40's, perhaps someone has an explanation. I'm hoping I don't feel daft after getting one. Stop it!
