|

Hi,
I have 540 that I wish to sell. Before I do I'd like to remove the details of my TomTom account (username & password) from the device.
How can I do this?
Thanks in advance. |

Does 'restore to factory defaults' clean out the information? _________________ David |

Factory defaults wipes out custom settings, not the map. _________________ David |

Restore to factory defaults is the option you need, it will do what you want without removing your custom POI files, it will wipe your username/ password and any POI settings but thats all - Mike |

If it's of any interest, I did a list of everything I could find that a "Return to Factory Settings" *does* and *doesn't* do....
Find it HERE
According to that list, it does delete the "User name and password for the Plus services " |
