Because nobody replied quickly enough on this forum.
I had some answers on another forum and was nice enough to share these answers with you.
Contrarily to your answer that does not add anything, mine TRY to be productive. _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)

Frenchie, this isn't a 'Live Chat' forum, you need to give people a chance to answer your queries.
There are times however when no one may have an answer to share so no response doesn't mean you are being ignored.
As you said, you had some answers on another forum and was nice enough to share these answers with us - thank you. _________________ Ian.

I ordered a pack of 3 screen protectors on Thursday 02 July from this Ebay (US) shop:
http://stores.ebay.com/expresscentre_W0QQsspagenameZl2QQtZkm
They arrived on Monday 5 at 10am in London.
I will let you know if they are good quality.
I will then close this post and mention this store in Good/Bad Retailers section. _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)

I do NOT recommend the Ebay shop above.
For previous PDAs, I have bought some superb screen protectors, adding more sensitivity, glare protection to the screen, while protecting it.
This is not the case of these screen protectors.
They look like if they had been made with recycled preservatives.
I had to remove them and throw them away.
I wasted $11 for nothing. _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)

If I could get good quality screen protectors for PDA, they must exist for GPS also...
Where? That's the question... _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)

Correction of my latest post:
READ: They look like if they had been made with recycled condoms ('preservatif' in French). _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)

A high-quality screen protector is a good thing, not so much for anti-glare or better sensitivity but for the protection it guarantees to the screen.
Screen protectors I bought for PDAs were thin, not rigid but not completely smooth either.
They were applied within 30 secs and the 1 or 2 bubbles were easily removed.
With these protector screens bought at Ebay shop above, glare seemed to be much higher, touch was crap and it was impossible to remove all the small bubbles.
It is an easy process with a credit card to remove bubbles on a good quality screen protector.
On these ones, it proved impossible. Whether the bubbles did not disappear, or for the ones that disappeared, they left a scratch after having been removed.
I suspect they also produce some condoms as they seem to use the same material.
I think I will buy another screen protector from the same shop that sold me good quality screen protectors for PDA. If I choose a big enough one and cut it if required, it will still be better than cutting in two a condom and applying it on my screen... _________________ StreetPilot 2610 (Garmin)
