Hi there.
I have just bought a used TomTom Go 700, I really like it.
I downloaded the newest application 'TomTom Home' and connected my satnav. the application automatically updated my satnav, and also downloaded a theme called 'Cool Grey'
Does anyone know how i can set the Go 700 to use the downloaded theme. I can't see an option to do so either on the satnav, or in the TomTom Home application.
Thank you |

I don't know whether the 700 has the same set of screens as I have on the 720 but, for me, it would be Preferences--Change Map Colours--and then select from choices.
For me, downloaded (not built in) colour choices are in a schemes folder and have an extension of .clr _________________ David |

Also, if I remember rightly, when you step through the available colour schemes, any that you have downloaded get put in a sort of "sub-menu" with a weird rainbow-coloured icon, so you have to select that first, and only then do you get a chance to select the downloaded one you want.
Other versions of software need you to tap the "Advanced" button at the bottom before you can get into the pages where you can scroll through ALL the schemes until you get to the same rainbow icon and the words "Plug-in Scheme". Select that and you then get a list of all the extra ones you've installed to choose from.
And you then have to go through all the steps again to select the night scheme. |

Fantastic, the second solution helped. the one with finding the Plug in scheme.
Thanks for that. |
