I have recently updated from an old Western Europe map to Western andCentral Europe v 830.2307. This was via a download .The post code search is now not the same. I tap in the full code, which then appears on the top line, but only the first part of the code appears underneath that and I then have to scroll down all the street options to select the one I want. Is this the norm now, or can I do something to get the search as it was before? Please answer as simply as you can and, if possible, please walk me through it if there is a solution. Oh, and by the way I think I have a problem with my card reader so can't do anything which might involve that.Thanks. |

Sounds like you don't have the postcode data with your new map. Can you check and see whether there is a folder called "zip" on your TT, and whether it contains any files.
If not, you can copy the folder/files across from the Explorer backup you made before you updated the map (You did, didn't you?) _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

Go to "Oldboy's" web site by clicking Here where you will find a much newer postcode file set than that currently available from the TomTom download, these files will be better matched to your v8xx map - Mike |
