So the guess from the manual is that the sound for the TT and voice will be through BT. Will it need power to work?
I like to listen to ipod and would like to have the speaker, but not always plug into the car charger. Will the sound and speaker work without a charger? _________________ TT Go 520

My guess is it will need constant power. If it took power from the iPhone the battery would be flat in miniutes
I am both disapointed with tha lack of features of the app and also the poor integration of the mount
My car has an iPod connector and integration with the stereo controls
The TT mount is useless for me
A more elegant solution would have been having a passthrough for the connector so I could connect up my cars connector and a hardware connection to the gps via the dock rather than hve to fiddle around with bluetooth

I just got this and am running it with Co Pilot. When Co Pilot is not running my IPhone recharges fine in the mount. When I have Co Pilot running I'm not convinced it's charging as it should. I've had it drain battery despite being plugged in, on a long journey pretty hopeless. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I should be looking for in the settings? |

Panic over, it does charge while running Co Pilot, albeit quite slowly! |
