Thanks for great job! |
Can you confirm that the Event Pages are working (after tapping the onscreen TMC Icon) and also that when you tap on a TMC Event the TMC Event map page opens and you can page through the maps of TMC Events.
arkoko wrote: | I have question about dynamic volume. Can You confirm that it really works? On my HP iPAQ310 i can't realize any effect of dynamic volume. May be You have some settings tips?

Yes it really does work. It will only increase the volume to the maximum setting so the volume must be set at a value less than maximum to notice any effect.
The default settings of 90 and 150 km/h mean that the volume will start increasing from your normal level at 90 km/h to it's maximum setting at 150 km/h. So nothing happens below 90 km/h and at 120 km/h the volume will be halfway between the normal setting and maximum.
Reducing the lower setting has the most noticable effect, so that's the first thing to try.

Not tried your 1.0.7 yet, but this functionality well tested on DJ.Amigo skin with all supported resolutions. If wish, you can compare tmc*.ui parts and freely copy/paste if needed
To get TMC signal I must drive to my "TMC test position" where FM from neighbour country reachable

Added Version 1.0.8
1.0.7 - Added the TMC Setting Menus and TMC Event Pages to all resolutions. The TMC Event Pages can be accessed from the navigation map by tapping the TMC Icon when it is active.
1.0.8 - Removed MSN Direct traffic references to avoid any possible conflicts.

I always turn that off so I don't miss it at all. |
I find it useful when going long distance. It gives a nice visual indication of where you are in relation to nearby towns and overall on your route.
The display in Amigo is a bit better than iGo 8. Less cluttered too. The lack of options is a real annoyance though. At least in 8 you have the simple/advanced modes for that, so why not in Amigo? |
This is the only thing missing in the amigo version.
IMO the automatic overview map is very welcome. When cruising you have really a good view of where you are.
With the settings you could point out that 3Km before an action it switches to 3D.
Does there still excist a chance that you will consider this to include in a next version?

As I said before, I always turn it off, so since this skin is primarily for my own use there's no reason to include it.

I've added a new version with support for TMC Settings and TMC Event Pages, I haven't been able to test it so perhaps you could test it and let me know if it works.
Thanks

Thank you, 1.0.9 works well. Only thing... if u click on some TMC event, when u display the map, the upper panel that shows the details has some overlapped lines... maybe u can recheck that area once more. |

That's always the problem when you can't test something. Which resolution are you using and is it possible to get a screenshot.

I've modified the lines of text so that they should now display correctly, at some time perhaps you could confirm if it is now ok.
Thanks

Added Version 1.0.11
Fixed: The "More Options ► Add Destination to Favourites" buttons now correctly add the destination as a favourite.

Great! I use this skin because of it not cluttering the interface while still adding useful options. Thank you very much!
I absolutely miss the function to show always the second turn (or event). Maybe the creator of this skin too?
I still have no idea how Amigo decides when it is going to show the second event and when not... but it's clearly showing it not at times when I actually need it, so an option to turn that feature permanently on (like it was default in Igo8 anyway) would be very good. |

The criteria for showing the second event using default settings is:
navigation.secondary_maneuver_is_near & navigation.secondary_near_to_primary
Quote: | For "navigation.secondary_maneuver_is_near" the sys.txt entry is:
[navigation]
second_maneuver_near_threshold=1800
|
Quote: | For "navigation.secondary_near_to_primary" the sys.txt entry is:
[navigation]
maneuver_distance_diff_threshold=300
|
Therefore to get the same default settings as the iGO8 Ultra Skin:
Quote: |
[navigation]
second_maneuver_near_threshold=600
maneuver_distance_diff_threshold=300
|
To avoid odd results the first value above should be at least twice the second value.
