Can anybody tell me where I can A) edit the default POI's that come with Tom Tom 3? I have POIEdit but I don't seem to be able to find any default POI files among the IPAQ directories. And B) where can I make a a request for change on a default POI (not one that's been downloaded from POIHandler). |

So I wonder who Tom Tom rely on to keep POI's correct ? The petrol station at ASDA's where I live is in the incorrect place on Tom Tom POI. And it's not on the POIHANDLER web site either. So it can't be modified there. |

You do know you can make your own POI's don't you or amend an existing on if is one that has been downloaded or created by you?
For a new POI switch to Map View, Tap'n'Hold on the location you wish to record as a POI and select 'Add as point of interest' then either select the existing category you wish to add it to or select <new type> and create a new POI category.
To edit a POI, locate it in Map View, Tap'n'Hold the POI, select 'More' and then either 'Edit Point of interest' if you wish to change the POI category or POI name or 'Delete as point of intertest' if it's wrongly located and then re-create as above in the correct location. _________________ Darren Griffin |
