On the Dutch SatMap site, there is another Tab after
home - about active 10 - shop - news - software.
The Tab is called "routes" and Babelfish translates it as-
Download here the walking route and bicycle routes of the ANWB The declared routes exist from GPX formats. To download these to your Active 10, you must use of the programme SatSync (for free to download under the cup software). To store the walking route or bicycle route you press on the straight muisknop and select save ash. Walking route bicycle routes
There are about 170 routes in total.
It would be nice to have similar for the UK?

Hi Rogerfrit,
Thats right. The Dutch have loads of GPS routes for the cycle paths on their website, which is at www.fietsen.123.nl/fietsroutes.htm
Most of this is in Dutch, although there are some in English. I've found that Babelfish does not always cope well with Dutch, but you can get the routes without needing to understand the language.

Hi AllanR,
Just for completeness, I think the address needs another dot:
www.fietsen.123.nl/fietsroutes.htm

Hi jbak,
You are absolutely right. Clicking on the link in my reply doesn't work. The one in yours does.
Thanks

You could edit yours so that it does work. Or do you not have the edit button for your post? |
