Thanks for taking the time to update us. I have used your comments to correct the Nissan installation guide here.
Is the manual you refer to available on-line in .pdf format or are you able to scan the relevant pages?
At the moment I'm working blind and can only update the guide based on user feedback. _________________ Darren Griffin |

hi, yes of course, I have scanned the pages. I cant find anyway to show a POI icon on the map though. However at least we can get a warning now when 250 yd from a camera.
Can you advise me how I can upload the pages (there are 3)
Thanks

Received. Thanks for taking the time to scan them in, I'll take a look over the weekend and use them to sort out our install guide. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have one big question. If you load your news POIs on Connect system, you receive the information that this downlonding will delete your data active (manuel 4-21). Then could I download my POIs ??? |

I don't understand your question? Installing POIs overwrites those previously installed. _________________ Darren Griffin |

It is a warning/reminder that happens every time, regardless of the whether POIs have been previously installed. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have used another usb dongle and still the same also i went to the dealers today and asked if i could try it in 1 of there cars and they said only in a courtsey car but sorry all where out.
I find it hard to believe that i have asked the main dealers and they know less than me and i know Jack
Only through this forum i wouldn't have got as far as i am now |

I've sorted it All the poi's speed camera's restuarants you name it done
The only thing now is how do i change the warning volume on the unit when i approach speed camers as the only 2 volumes are the woman directing and warning of traffic and the audio .I also want to be able to watch video on it so that's my next step.
I know it runs on a windows ce operating system it's getting inside of it. |

I guess that's what you mean
Well its' not the dongle its a fault with nissan and there connect instructions.
If you take an eye glass and carefully look at the pages 4 -19 i think anyway the pages that explain how to creat a poi.
You will se you have to creat first a folder called mypois
Then you have to creat a folder within that folder called mypoiwarnings
Then within that folder do you drop the files
So when you input this in the cars system it will load
I know what a pain and Nissan the main manufacturer customer services told me
Sir nobody has complain about this before
To which i replied
I am not supprised no body knows how to do it |
