Having downloaded and installed the latest database I have a question.
I have set all the recommended distances as suggested, however when I download a new update do I have to go through the same routine or will my Tom Tom 740 remember my previous settings?
Thanks in advance.... |

When we publish updates (as we have just done) then you just copy the new files across, you do not need to re-configure the settings. _________________ Darren Griffin |

As Darren says just copy the new OV2 files over and it should all work OK. It might also be worth making a backup of the mapsettings.cfg file too, because if the warnings do go screwy you can copy this back to the unit to fix it. |

Thanks for the help. Would a full backup be the best thing to do? |
