I have just recived a map update to v830 2305 I assume this is to try and sort the problems filckering screen.Will give it a try. I trust no one else has been updated.

v830 2305 maps were released to the public today.
How did you receive this update? With the latest map guarantee, or as a personal download from TomTom support? |

I wouldn't expect any map update to cure a problem which seems to be a software problem. This may be over-simplistic, but in general, maps and software are two entirely separate things, and a change to one won't fix a fault in the other. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

Think this was a personal download, but I am still waiting for a response from Tom Tom, put the later os on but it was still the same so I rolled back again. While testing the new version I noticed the screen still judders and flashed when i had the rds plugged in when i took it out it stopped, as it works with the old version I am going to stick to that.
