|
|
Hi Guys
Just bought a TomTom One Classic which looks like its a V3 which was on offer as an end of line sale in my local Tescos for my son.
I connected it to Home and did all the updates Navcore etc
When I tried the Map update home reported that the Map Upgrade had expired, I know the unit is old by TomTom standards but there is no mention on the box that the latest map offer is time limited.
I have e.mailes TomTom but not had any reply from them yet, so anyone know if the latest map guarantee is time limited.
Thanks

No mention is made of the TT One Classic. _________________ David |

Just had a reply from TT asking for a copy of the device system info
They said they will re-set the maps down load.
The One Classic is Also known as the One V3
Thanks

TomTom are renaming things again... What they are selling a the "One Classic" at the moment is in fact the "One Third Edition". So it *did* have the LMG when it was sold originally, but who knows if they will try to wriggle out of it with this re-launched version?
I would reckon that if Home says the LMG has "expired" rather then saying it "isn't available", then it SHOULD work.
A call to TomTom should shed some more light... |
