HELP. I did the ultimate sin, whilst a back up of my TTone the Usb lead came out. Now the unit wont reboot. I have tried the back up but it must be corrupted due to the interuption of the update.
Went on to the TOMTOM website which adviced to delete the application and re-install. It downloads ok but on installation near the end an error pops up and the installation stops.
When i now plug the TTone onto the usb it auto updates but stops during install.
When i switch the unit on i get an error saying "Unable to store maps settings: file access error. The TT will boot up but then freeze and reboots itself making it totally useless.
Can anyone help. Many thanks in advance |

Firstly download and run the ClearFlash tool from TomTom, available here with usage instructions.
Then re-apply the update. Post back once you've done to let us know if it helped or not? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Further to Darren's advice regarding the Clear Flash tool, if that doesn't work, perhaps the info in this link may help. _________________ David |
