The "Splash Generator" is supposed to be here:
http://cheese.org/generator.php
The page still exists, but it didn't work when I just tried it a minute ago. |

The only problem with any of these on-line generators, is that all they will do is resize your existing picture. So for example your MG badge would end up oval on a wide-screen TomTom.
If you do it yourself in a "paint" program on the PC, you can make your own decisions about how it looks - for yours, Darren had to add some background colour to each side to make it wider. |

If you paste it straight into the correct location then you do but for wide-screen versions its splashw.bmp, if you save it into your pictures folder and use the menu to choose it as a Startup Pic then TomTom does the name change for you

Yes, same image size dimensions and format, called suspendw.bmp _________________ Darren Griffin |

Okay, I'll check in a little while. I know there WAS an antitheft.bmp file on my 720 but honestly don't remember if it got renamed to suspendw.bmp in a previous app update.
Mind you, I don't remember what I had for lunch today... and that was 2 hours ago, my time! _________________ David |
